I can’t say enough good things about the care my dad/brother received from Ruta. From the very beginning, she was kind, attentive, and incredibly compassionate. She always took the time to explain what was happening, made sure my dad/brother was comfortable, and treated him with genuine respect and patience. What stood out most was how much she truly cared — not just about his medical needs, but about him as a person. She also took the time to reassure our family, which meant so much during a stressful time. Her professionalism, empathy, and dedication made a huge difference in my dad/brothers hospital stay, and we are very grateful for her care. She is a real credit to the hospital and her profession. I have been transferred from Whipps Cross where I was spent the past 3 weeks. It has been a difficult time but arriving at St Barts, Ruta introduced herself and made me feel really comfortable and looked after. Despite being busy constantly during her shift, she consistently found time to check up on me, have a chat and just be there where I needed someone to listen. She has been a very positive presence during my stay and has gone above and beyond for me! She has really helped me when I needed it the most. An absolute star!
