My mum was brought in via ambulance and on arrival she was given blood tests and x-rays right away followed by a CT scan. All members of staff were so lovely and gave my mum pain medication to allow her to feel comfortable and not in as much discomfort as she was. The resus team were amazing and very professional.

I was admitted on the 15/01/2026 for an ablation. I was looked after by Catherine and Marc in the trolley bay, bed 2. I want to thank them both for their care and support. I was very anxious and at one point couldn’t even answer Marc’s questions. He was so kind, patient and reassuring. It made a world of difference. Catherine was thorough and efficient with my care, her cheerful nature was a tonic. They both treated everyone with such respect and dignity. I am so grateful to them both. I have spent some time on ward 5B. I had the very good fortune to meet Ruta,What a fantastic lady she is and always there at times when you most needed help and comfort. She mixes excellent nursing care with attention to detail. Ruta I hope you continue to share your gentle empathy with many others. It is one thing to care for patients but another when you you add to that the ability to care about them. That’s a special gift and you surely have it !!!
