I would like to say a huge thank you to Mo from the patient and family of Bay 2 - Bed 9! She has been such a delight to be around and not only has she made my uncle/brother feel safe and comfortable but also has ensured that his family were okay during this time. She has such a kind nature and a very welcoming presence. She is respectful and an all rounding lovely person. Her calming nature and wonderful humour has definitely played a key part in his recovery.

Dr Dora Paraicz was fantastic. Honestly, she was absolutely brilliant. Cut through all the problems very, very quickly, got me treatment and even made sure I had a cup of tea and a sandwich. She really listened and interrogated me (in a nice way) to clarify. She was so thoroughly wonderful. I know you might say that's a doctor's job but honestly, Dr Dora is brilliant. All of the staff in SDEC are wonderful as are the two reception staff 'Don', and the fun lovely lady with her 1980s leggings (sorry I didn't get your name). Even the lovely Irish lady who volunteers and is a delight. They all do a very difficult job, with sometimes quite stressed out patients yet they do it with such grace and humour. Please do treat them with courtesy and respect, and be a patient patient. They provide a wonderful service and all deserve medals.
