I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for taking the time to see me for my VBAC appointment. Your knowledge, patience, and reassurance have made such a difference in helping me feel more confident and prepared for this journey. I really appreciate the care and attention you gave to all my questions and concerns. It’s clear how much you care about your patients, and I’m truly grateful for your guidance and support.

Thank you, Derrick, for noticing my uncle's enlarged prostate on the routine exam following his inability to pass urine. The tests you sent him for did show he has prostate cancer, so you may well have saved his life by spotting it before it had time to spread - thank you so much. We really appreciate how kind and understanding you were, and how patiently you explained things to him at a fairly overwhelming stage. We've seen many (fantastic) doctors and nurses over the last few months, but you are the one he still asks if he'll see again :) Fantastic work by a fantastic human being. Thank you so much, both from my uncle and from his niece. Your hard work really is appreciated!

Shirley was amazing over the weekend. She was very attentive and caring. Very interactive with visitors and keeping everyone feel updated with their care. She is an asset to Whipps. Treasure her! She’s amazing.

Thank you so much , Antoaneta! I left my backpack in a waiting room in outpatients yesterday and went home without it and like a detective you located my name and phone number and contacted me and I was able to fetch it today! This was not part of your duties, but you went out of your way to be kind and helpful. It is wonderful to have people like you working in the NHS! I am very grateful!!!

Emily was the midwife for our delivery on 28.02.25 She was definitely my advocate when doctors, consultants etc came into our room and I felt she really cared about me, my husband and our birth plan. She made the whole transition from Lilac to Labour so much easier with her calming nature and light heartedness. We really missed her when she had to leave during the change over to the night team and wish she could have been there for the birth of our son. Emily, you are incredible at what you do and we are so grateful that you were part of our journey. You made us laugh, made us feel safe and overall were such a pleasure to meet.

The guy who books in for blood tests is a star, eternally cheerful and remembers my name 🙂 I’m here every 28 days, all the way from Brentwood, when other options exist. The phlebotomists are excellent always 🙂
