When it was clear a bypass was required, you gave us all the facts, were generous with your time and answered all of the questions and concerns. It is so important to feel psychologically safe with your surgeon and your professionalism and a balanced, calm approach gave us all the confidence. You promised to call after surgery and you did, exactly at the time you said you would. I can’t thank you enough - it meant so much. The surgery went very well and you made sure to check on me from time to time. I am being discharged today and won’t see you but I just wanted to say huge thanks to you and the team who cared for me.
