Hi I would like to say a massive massive thanks to all the staff that have looked after my mum while she had her mastectomy and now radiotherapy. From the transport drivers to the transport staff to reception , HDU , ward 4 , ward 6 and radiotherapy . A big shout out to Amaka in HDU who was absolutely amazing and looked after my mum like she was her own mum. It was a 121 care mum received . And now radiotherapy, well what can I say Leslie / Sejal and Fathima on Saturn are all just amazing , they have made mum feel comfortable and treat mum with so much respect, love and care, it’s absolutely mind blowing how all the staff are absolutely welcoming, approachable and so supportive and understanding. It’s been a tough journey for us , but Bart’s and the staff have made it so much easier. And a big shout out to Richard Luckock in the transport lounge , he’s phenomenal. He takes care of patients waiting in the lounge , he looks after them , the way he speaks to all patient is with so much love , he goes out of his way to help patients. He is just ace and a pleasure to have at Bart’s. Overall if I could award each member’ of staff I have come across I sincerely would do . All are doing a great job. Keep it up

Ria was very attentive, patient and kind Miilena was also equally kind and attentive. They both made me feel relaxed and Ria, explained all the steps of the procedure in a way that made it easy to understand. There was also a volunteer, Loraine, she stopped by to give me a word of encouragement. She could tell I was a bit anxious and offered me support.

A very special thank you to the nurses for their dedication and tireless care. They truly make a difference in patients lives every single day. Sister Tina, Sister Betsy, Ri all the nurses that took care of me were amazing thank you. Fabulous catering staff Lara, Taymo. The kindness and genuine care, encouragement of food and recovery did not go unnoticed. It brought comfort during a time when it was needed most. Big enormous shout out to Sister Tina, who was absolutely exceptional. When I had to go into emergency theatre, she went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and supported. She stayed right beside me, offering reassurance and genuine care at every moment. Her compassion, dedication to her work and calm presence were truly remarkable. Sister Tina is a role model in every sense and a real asset to the hospital. Her dedication reflects the very best of what healthcare should be. I can’t express how much I appreciate you all. Thank you all for the outstanding care you provide it will never be forgotten.
