Just to say thanks to Shirley who made my week at the ward memorable. She was there for my admission and her maternal mannerisms made me feel calm before my surgery. She saw that my mum was emotional so told her to follow me to the operation room which allowed her piece of mind. Her easy nature made her enjoyable to converse with and made my time there less daunting.
