For the wonderful female Sonographer who looked after me today at Royal Hallamshire in the Radiology department (I am so sorry I didn’t catch your name) - thank you for treating me with the kindness and compassion I so needed today. I know we spoke briefly on my history and why I was attending my appointment but today was actually the anniversary of our first pregnancy loss and your care and empathy at what was a troublesome appointment whilst my emotions were at all an time low, will never be forgotten. Thank you for taking the time to not only show me kindness but for your beautiful words of hope and encouragement. After several bad experiences in hospitals up to this point, you were stand out and I’ve carried your lovely words with me all day, I just had to reach out and express my sincere thanks. You probably don’t realise the positive impact you have and just how appreciated your professionalism but also your ability to really show you understand, means to your patients. Thank you for making today just that little bit easier and lighter and allowing me to leave my appointment with a small piece of hope. I really hope this finds you and you can take a moment to know how appreciated you are and how appreciative I was to hear your own story and for trusting me with it. You’ll always be a part of my journey. Thank you so much x

I just like to say a big thankyou for the treatment i had today, they made me feel so calm and exsplained what was happernig i am so pleased felt no pain at all . Lovely team highly recommend.

Thank you so much for taking care of my Grandmar Valerie, I really appreciate how calm and gentle you are with her. Thank you for taking the time to answer all my questions and getting extra chairs & a jug of water for the flowers. I can see just how well looked after she is. I visited today so anxious and worried about my sons condition and the team were incredible, I left feeling his care was in the right hands and a plan in place that was fully explained to me and that I understood. Thank you.

After a horrific four days in hospital, you took the time to actually listen to me and take care of me, and it actually feels like I’ve made some progress. In a busy ward, taking five minutes out just to listen is worth more than people realise. Thank you!

MRI - Radiology, RHH A big thanks to Debbie and the radiology team who conducted my MRI on Sat 22 Feb. thank you for understanding and accommodating my issues with claustrophobia- I felt well supported and cared for. A Complete contrast to last MRI which had to be abandoned, resulting in me having to have a CT scan. Has significantly my fear of this procedure. There were also a lot of positive comments from other patients in the waiting area.
