Thank you for being such a reassuring voice throughout Barnaby’s birth and for helping me to stay calm. You listened so carefully and explained everything that was happening, which gave me so much confidence and reassurance . I couldn’t have wished for my baby boy to be born into safer hands. Thank you also for helping to clean, dress, weigh and examine him afterwards — the care you showed to both of us was excellent. I’m so grateful for everything you did for both of us and for safely bringing our beautiful Barnaby into the world on 5th August.

Thank you so much for helping me through the birth of my beautiful baby boy, Barnaby, on the 5th August. You listened to my wishes and supported me in every way possible, always treating me with kindness and respect. I’ll never forget how you held my hand when I felt worried and how you even came back the next morning to check in, knowing how scared and nervous I had been. That really showed how much you cared. I’m so grateful for everything you did to help me bring Barnaby safely into the world.

My appointment was on Monday 11th March but through my own fault I arrived a day late. The team in the Xray department were extremely helpful and managed to fit me in within 5 minutes.

Sam Bacon is an extremely kind and caring Nurse. I was lost in her department and she kindly took me around the corner to where I needed to be . I have been cared for in the past by Sam and her team and I am always reassured about my treatment and extremely well looked after. I can’t thank Sam enough, she always goes the extra mile with a huge smile. Thank you Sam

Teresa Lewis is an amazing Volunteer, I asked her for directions and she took me there herself, waited and then took me back again, she was so polite and smiley to everyone we met including patients and staff. She was warm, welcoming, reassuring and very helpful. She made a big difference to my experience at MK hospital. Thank you so much

I was waiting for my appointment Tuesday afternoon and you were chatting to a frail elderly lady and then a gentleman wanting to return his monitor as he was now better!! On both occasions you were happy to help, unhurried, kind, patient, reassuring, understanding with lots of eye contact - and I was impressed! You have a wonderful gift and it was lovely to watch you in action! Thank you!

Ann Marie, you helped to deliver my baby (Marnie) who was born on 26 April this year. I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for your support during a long labour, and you made what was a scary and intense experience quite the opposite. You are an amazing midwife and I couldn’t have wished for anyone else.

I was received at Ward 24 by Helen and the team and was welcomed with a smile and felt that welcome so much - Helen was absolutely great - I spoke also to hygene and cleaning operatives who were so enthusiastic and happy in their work and of course their achievements keep the front door open - Sadly I cannot remember much about my time in the Colorectal Surgery but they did congratulate me on my performance and thank them for theirs

Laura has been there for me and my wife since I first got diagnosed just over 3 years ago. She has been absolutely amazing. Whatever questions or worries we have Laura has/is there. Laura was fantastic when she urgently responded to an email from my wife when I fell really ill. If it hadn’t been for Laura and my wife, I would have been dead the very next day. Laura is an absolutely fantastic member of staff and a credit to the Cancer Centre.
