We would like to thank all the staff on Ward 3 for their care and support to my wife Christine. She suffers with vascular dementia and a number of related health conditions, and was in Ward 3 for eight weeks between July and September. She eventually moved into a nursing home, where her needs are being addressed. Staff on Ward 3 were compassionate and caring, and went the extra mile to meet Christine’s needs, even when they were run off their feet with work. They faced abuse from some of their distressed patients, and took it in their stride. No matter what situation they were in, their professionalism and care never faltered. This message is from Christine’s husband, daughter and son.

Thank you for taking the time to firstly call me to update us on dad's situation, twice! Then repeatedly in person at his bedside, taking the time to explain and listen. It is quite rare so thank you so much

The staff at reception are amazing. They are so patient caring and nice to everyone! Even the rather difficult patients who are being quite aggressive

Thank you so much to all of the wonderful staff on the labour ward at MK Hospital. You were all so lovely and patient with me during my labour and delivery of my baby girl Elizabeth on the 6th of September. I can't thank you enough!

Thank you! Roseanne’s cheerful attitude shone through yesterday afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble for her, despite the ward being very busy, and she ensured that all patients’ needs were carefully attended to - which was no easy task! Roseanne is clearly a credit to your organisation and, for us, as visitors to the ward between 2 and 8 daily since Saturday, her energy, enthusiasm and work ethic yesterday, was clearly noticeable, and second to none. Please pass on our grateful thanks.

I have just had a CT scan today. I was so impressed I turned up an hour early and was seen early. Everyone reassured me. I can’t remember the staff names but from the lovely man who gently put in my cannula to the staff that took my scan. I was extremely nervous I suffer with anxiety and used to be a staff nurse!! Not a good combination. I am extremely grateful to the lovely staff there.

Thank you so much for helping me through the birth of my beautiful baby boy, Barnaby, on the 5th August. You listened to my wishes and supported me in every way possible, always treating me with kindness and respect. I’ll never forget how you held my hand when I felt worried and how you even came back the next morning to check in, knowing how scared and nervous I had been. That really showed how much you cared. I’m so grateful for everything you did to help me bring Barnaby safely into the world.
