Mum came into the care of the heamatology team last summer. She was admitted via emergency care to Ward 25. At the time, we had no idea what was causing her illness but tests & scans revealed High-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma. We didn't think Mum would make it but with the amazing care of all the wonderful staff and successful treatment, she is back to good health and her cancer is in remission. Thank you to all the amazing staff who took care of her- from the emergency team, the assessment ward, the heamatology team, the staff on ward 25 and the Macmillan support team. You all do a fantastic job. Thank you.

Allwyn looked after my dad during a ten visit on Saturday 30th Jan 2026 He was professional, attentive, compassionate, caring, and went above and beyond in every aspect. He often checked in and kept us updated during our time in the department. He even got my dad some food and a hot drink, he helped make him as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately we ended up back in A&E on Sunday 1st Feb with my mum. Allwyn recognised us and again was friendly, helpful and caring. I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for making a few difficult days a little easier.

Thank you very much to the cardiology team at my appointment for the bubble test. Very kind an polite people and i feel that they are a huge benifit to the hospital. Unfortunately ive forgot there names however one of them a female is called Ka as a first name.

I met Leanne when having an obstetric ultrasound but Leanne works in the fetal medicine team. She is amazing! She went out of her way to have a chat with me about a few concerns I had, she answered questions so thoroughly and explained everything in a way I could understood. I can’t believe how much she knows, it’s just mind blowing. And for her to spend that time with me when she and everyone else is so busy, is very much appreciated. Thank you so much Leanne!

Kate is so calming and very knowledgable! She really took her time during my scan to explain everything and take it slow (scans were painful due to OHSS). She was friendly and patient throughout and it really helped me become less fearful. Thank you so much Kate!

Lou has been very supportive in my knee journey and ensuring my pain was under control post op. She helped me to regulate my breathing and made things possible so I could shower post surgery (little things make a big difference). Ever so appreciative of a kind and caring person like Lou. On the 19th November I was admitted on Ward21a for elective surgery. I could not fault the staff on this ward at all. I was in for 2 nights and they were kind thoughtful and very friendly. Well done to you all you are a credit to the hospital

Hi guys I am delighted with the service I received today. I was a walk in referral from my dentist so expected long delays. I arrived at 1115 am and was back out the door at 1145! Well done and definitely exceeded my expectations.
