Hi lovely, when I feel desperate I remind myself as everything is temporary. Nothing goes everlasting. Life itself is gorgeous and you are a beautiful part of it :) Sending my love and hug to you :)

If you are feeling lonely right now - I'm really sorry to hear that. Many people in London are feeling this - ironically, in that respect, we are not alone. There are many people out there who are all feeling the same thing right now. But there are also many people who would all like to connect with others, listen to each other talking about how they feel, support each other. If you can access any local community activities, support, volunteering, I would warmly recommend this - I have found a lot of connection with my neighbours through this.

Hello, friend I haven't met yet! Or should I say konnichiwa! I'm writing to you from Japan, where I'm travelling thanks to some time off work. Today has been a rainy day, but it really makes you appreciate how green and lucious everything is - they have beautiful asa trees and ferns where I am in Kochi. The gardens here are treated with such attention and care which is so uplifting. I hope you might be able to look out and see a little greenery today.

Your smile Don’t give it up Don’t let it die Open your heart And breath life in Open your eyes And let life begin Start your journey Towards the unknown Knowing that whatever happens You will not be alone For truth, happiness and strength Are inside Nothing is impossible Nothing can really hurt you If you keep your smile alive Don’t give it up Don’t let it die Poem by Rosa Bellino ©

Hello there, I live in Islington too. It’s a funny place - there’s neighbourhoods but it can be big and anonymous too. I can get quite lonely, being single and in my 40s. Sometimes I think I should do more about it but it isn’t always easy to and the winter and now all this wet makes it hard to get out and about even. Spring is coming, brighter days ahead and Islington has lots of nice parks to sit in and watch the world; or meet someone for a chat. I hope you get to enjoy some sunshine soon.

Things may look bleak sometimes, but always believe it is going to be better. There are kind people and organisations working to transform lives, just be patient because it could be you next! With Love and peace. D

Hello, We don't know each other but it looks like we might be neighbours. I hope you are as excited as I am by the coming of spring and summer, this has been quite a long and harsh winter. I have noticed for the first time today the sky has been blue and clear at 7 pm in the evening and this has made me very happy. I wonder if you have any hobbies or things that help you find joy in your day to day life? I have recently picked up crochet and despite being very slow I have managed to make some cute things for my friends. It is not a lot but I hope this message has made your day a tiny bit better! Love from a fellow Islington resident!
